About the Firehouse Theatre

A family friendly, affordable place to ignite, nurture, discover, develop and share the performing arts!

The Firehouse Theatre 2014 Season

charlie brown
Manske Library, Farmers Branch

An average day in the life of Charlie Brown from Valentine’s Day to the baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, from bright uncertain morning to hopeful starlit evening. This delightful hit had two successful runs on Broadway!

Shrew
Manske Library, Farmers Branch

We continue our “Shakespeare Under the Stars” with this battle of the sexes comedy that is another timeless story. Although written in the 1590’s, the comedy still rings true over 400 years later.

dolly
Plaza Arts Center, Carrollton

This delightful musical certainly turns the table, as Dolly Levi manipulates her way into the heart of Horace Vandergelder, just as she has sung her way into the hearts of audiences for over forty years

ivy gap
Manske Library, Farmers Branch

Step into the lives of a wise-cracking pastor’s wife, a rebellious organist, a want-to-be Hollywood actress and a shy new comer in 1945 & then again 25 years later. A beautiful Southern comedy that will keep you in stitches beginning to end!

annie warbucks
Plaza Arts Center, Carrollton

Annie wants nothing more than to be adopted by Oliver Warbucks, but in this delightful sequel to “Annie”, there are all sorts of characters to stand in her way. This show delivers all the warmth & adventure that made the original an instant classic!
